When Mr Axe came in to a bit of money, he decided to put the cash to good use and receive some return on his investment by opting to install solar panels with an additional battery storage system.

We asked Mr Axe why he opted to add battery storage to his Solar PV system:
“I knew I wanted to invest in solar, but I wanted the system to work even harder for me. It struck me that I was generating all this power, and giving some of it back to the grid, so I wanted to claim back some of the benefit for myself, and that’s what I can achieve with battery storage.”
So why did you choose FGE over any other company?
“I found FGE online. There were plenty of other solar companies, but only Forever Green and one other company were offering a battery storage solution. Forever Green were more price competitive and so helpful. The installation was superb and I was looked after from start to finish – they are still available even now for any questions that I might have.
I only have good things to say about the battery storage system, we have already greatly reduced our electrical uptake with the corresponding saving from the system and the additional saving from the battery storage.
In the first 12 months of having the system installed, we have reduced our energy bill to a third of what it was before, and we know our savings will keep growing, which is fantastic. “
